PS Plus has been getting a lot better of late, and one aspect that’s certainly impressed us has been the free trials. Available with top tier PS Plus Premium, these allow you to play several hours from a rapidly increasing list of games, and you can continue your progress if you decide to pick any of them up at a later date. It’s a pretty good feature overall, and a definite value add.
One release that’s being added to the service later this week, from 22nd March, is Sonic Frontiers. While it’s unclear how long the trial will be, we assume it’ll be enough to get you started on the first island, which is a pretty good demonstration of what the full game has to offer. Remember, the release is getting updated this week with new content and quality of life improvements, too.
You can find a full list of PS Plus Premium trials in our All PS Plus Games guide, and we’ll obviously include Sonic Frontiers once it gets added. Will you be giving this a spin at all? Home in on the comments section below.

Nice, we’re getting some decent games with these trials
Urgh 😤😤 why do switch players get to download this demo for free and we have to get premium to do the same? Ask that question 🤔
Give us premium levels of money and we'll give you 'free' access to game demos. There is no low end to people's stupidity.
Gonna finally try this out now
@huyi yeah that premium subscription is just paying for itself at this rate 😒
Hopefully this will be more than the 15 min switch demo which really didn’t give me a feel for the game like I hoped it would.
Tried the Switch demo that offered a generous 30 minutes of tutorials before booting you to the home screen. Let's see if this fares better lol
@LimitedPower you are the ones who are paying for the premium services, you gotta report 😊😊
